The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Tuesday (June 3, 2025) trapped in-charge deputy tahsildar Jatangula Ganesh of Raikal mandal while allegedly receiving a bribe of ₹10,000 from a farmer through a private document writer Mujafar for doing an official favour in Jagtial district.

A team of ACB sleuths laid a trap and caught Mujafar while allegedly accepting the bribe on behalf of the accused officer from the complainant for registration of 1.025 acres of agricultural land belonging to the latter at Singaraopeta village in Raikal mandal, ACB sources said.

The tainted amount was recovered and both the accused have been arrested. They will be produced before the special court for SPE and ACB cases in Karimnagar.
