To mark the 79th Independence Day, Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru, will be open to tourists on August 16, 17, and 18, from 6 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.

Entry to the Raj Bhavan is permitted only with a valid government-issued photo ID, and after mandatory checks.

Visitors can explore designated areas in the Raj Bhavan premises, subject to strict security protocol. Entry is permitted only with a valid government-issued photo ID, and after mandatory checks.
Electronic devices, including mobile phones, laptops, and cameras, are strictly prohibited. Other banned items include sharp objects, metal items, food, beverages, plastic material, firecrackers, lighters, bags, purses, tobacco, and alcohol. No vehicles will be allowed inside the premises.
Visitors must remain within marked areas and follow instructions from security personnel. Silence and discipline are expected throughout the visit.
R. Prabhushankar, Special Secretary to the Governor of Karnataka, has urged cooperation from tourists to ensure smooth and respectful conduct of the programme.
