The new District Superintendent of Police (SP), S. Vimala, assumed office on Monday. Ms. Vimala replaced S. Rajesh Kannan, who was recently transferred to Chennai. Ms. Vimala previously served as SP at the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC).
