Karnataka Lokayukta conducted search operations across 45 locations in the State in connection with the complaints regarding disproportionate assets against 8 government officers on Tuesday. Assets worth ₹34.90 crore were unearthed during the raids.
During the raids, the sleuths seized assets worth ₹5.7 crore from places associated with Prakash K. S., executive engineer, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike, assets worth ₹3.85 crore were discovered during raids on K. G. Amaranath, chief officer, Municipality, Anekal, Bengaluru Rural, assets worth ₹6.32 crore were discovered during raids on Mallikarjuna Allipur, executive engineer, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Kalaburagi, assets worth ₹2.18 crore were discovered during raids on Ramachandra Masarakal, PDO, Sannuru Grama Panchayath, Kalaburagi, assets worth ₹6.11 crore were discovered during raids on Ashok Lakshmappa Vasanad, chief engineer, Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Ltd, Malaprabha Project Zone, Dharwad, assets worth ₹2.89 crore were discovered during raids on Lathamani D.B., account superintendent, Municipal City Office, Chikkamagaluru, assets worth ₹1.48 crore were discovered during raids on D.B. Patil, Police Inspector, Gadag Town police station and assets worth ₹6.34 crore were discovered during raids on Pradeep, professor co-ordinator, ADR, KSAHU, Shivamogga.
