As many as 4,040 students were selected for the four campuses of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) IIIT, for the academic year 2025-26, said admissions committee chairman and university Chancellor K. Madhu Murthy.

Among the selected candidates, 69.01% were girls. Kotlo Lakshmi Narasimha Reddy of Sri Satya Sai district, Angadi Pavani Chandrika of Palnadu, Kancharana Jyothsna of Srikakulam district, Sajja Divya Sri, a native of Bapatla district, Arsi Venkata Jaya of Anakapalli and Rasinti Meghana of Annamayya were among the top students who secured admissions into the university, he said.

Of the total, 94.78% students from various government schools and 5.22 percent from private institutions in the State secured admissions in Nuzvid, R.K. Valley, Srikakulam and Ongole campuses in the university.

Selected students can download their call letters from RGUKT website (www.rgukt.in), or from the AP State government’s Whatsapp Governance No.9552300009, the Chancellor said in a release on Monday.

In all, 50,541 students applied for admissions in RGUKT IIIT, of which 3,158 were from other States, he said.
