Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare M. Mathiventhan inaugurated completed works and laid the foundation for new works in Namagiripettai panchayat union in Rasipuram Assembly constituency on Saturday (June 21, 2025).
The Minister inaugurated seven scheme works and laid foundation for two scheme works worth ₹42.30 lakh. He also participated in the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of an overhead tank with a capacity of 10,000 litres at Mangalapuram Government Higher Secondary School on behalf of the Rural Development Department at ₹8.50 lakh. He inaugurated works to lay a concrete road from Keezh Periyakombai to Pudhurpalapatti at ₹8.30 lakh under the 15th Finance Commission subsidy.
Mr. Mathiventhan inaugurated completed works worth ₹25.50 lakh, including a transformer at Kumbakottai, a reverse osmosis water unit with a capacity of 2,000 litres per hour (LPH) at Mettala, the assistant engineer office of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation at Mangalapuram, and an overhead water tank with a capacity of 60,000 litres at Ambedkar Nagar in Thandagoundampalayam. DMK functionaries and officials participated in the functions.
Later, Mr. Mathiventhan participated in special grievances redress camps held at Vadukamuniappan Palayam panchayat, Moolapallipatti panchayat office, and Ayilpatty panchayat office. He received petitions from the public and instructed the officials to address the issues quickly.
