Senior Superintendent of Police, Praveen Kumar Tripathi, belonging to the Pondicherry Police Service, has been given charge of Crime and Intelligence in the Union Territory. He was earlier holding charge of Traffic. Nithya Radhakrishnan, I.P.S, who was recently posted in Puducherry by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), as SSP, Traffic replaces him.

The government has given charge of Police Headquarters to Anil Kumar Lal, I.P.S, who was also recently posted to Puducherry by the MHA.

Anita Roy, I.P.S who was till recently holding charge of Headquarters, has been posted as Commandant, India Reserve Battalion. She will also hold additional charge of Armed Police.
