Developmental works pertaining to 18 villages in Nellore Rural Assembly constituency, collectively worth ₹11 crore, were inaugurated on Friday.
The projects were undertaken on a priority basis by the local legislator Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and completed in a record time. The MLA unveiled a plaque to mark the inauguration of the projects, under the ambitious project titled ‘Chandranna Palle Panduga’.
He participated in the inaugural events at Golla Kandukur, Sajjapuram, Kotha Vellanti, Patha Vellanti and Kandamur villages falling under his Assembly constituency.
Mr. Sridhar Reddy recollected how the residents of these villages used to suffer neglect during the YSRCP’s tenure and called the change of guard as ‘the dawn of a new era’.
