A 42-year-old man who smuggled ganja from Andhra Pradesh was nabbed by the police on Sunday.

Acting on a tip-off, Magudanchavadi police checked a person waiting at the Magudanchavadi bus stop with two suitcases. During the check, the police found 30 kg of ganja in the suitcases and identified the person as Rithish (42), a resident of Alathur near Palakkad in Kerala. The police registered a case and arrested the accused. Police sources said that the accused bought the ganja in Andhra Pradesh and reached Magudanchavadi by train and from there he tried to catch a bus to reach Kerala.
