The Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) Tamil Nadu and Puducherry branch conducted “Mouth Cancer Care Connect” cancer screening camp at Koyambedu bus terminus on May 31. Held under the theme of “Oral Health is Overall Health”, the initiative was aimed at raising awareness about the critical link between oral health and overall well-being, while emphasising early detection of oral cancer. This was part of an ongoing effort by AOMSI Tamil Nadu and Puducherry branch members to conduct screenings across TN and Puducherry. R. Manikandhan, president of AOMSI, S. Jimson, president of AOMSI Tamilnadu & Puducherry branch, K. Arun Kumar, honorary State Secretary of AOMSI, Tamilnadu & Puducherry branch, Ram Kumar, district secretary, Rotary Club Chennai and Pradeep Devadoss, coordinator were present, according to a press release.
