A vocal recital by Gwalior Gharana’s veteran classical singer Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar, sarod recital by Abhishek Borkar, and Bansuri recital by Paramananda Roy await music lovers at Ramakrishna Mutt here on October 19.

The three concerts will be held at the Vivekananda auditorium between 3.30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The first concert will be sarod recital by Abhishek Borkar, followed by Bansuri recital by Paramananda Roy. Both artistes will be accompanied on the tabla by Yashwanth Vaishnav.

The last concert will be vocal concert by Ulhas Kashalkar. He will be accompanied by veteran artiste Suresh Talwalkar on the tabla and Guruprasad Hegde Giligundi on Samvadini.

The concerts will be part of ITC Mini Sangeet Sammelan, organised by Chiranthana Charitable Trust, in association with Sapthak Bengaluru, ITC Sangeeth Research Academy and Ramakrishna Mutt.

Bharavi Deraje from Chiranthana Trust told reporters here on Friday that an award will be presented to tabla player Yashwanth Vaishnav in memory of veteran tabla player Yashwant Acharya on October 19.
