Over 300 student delegates from various schools across Tiruchi participated in conference of India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (IIMUN) – Tiruchi Chapter, hosted by CARE International School.
The three-day conference, which commenced on October 10, engaged participants in insightful debates, global discussions, and collaborative decision-making exercises.
Skand Ranjan Tayal, former Ambassador of India to Uzbekistan and Korea, Indian Foreign Service, lauded CARE’s vision and commitment to nurturing young minds. He remarked that forums such as IIMUN play a crucial role in encouraging students to aim high and act with purpose. Quoting a verse from Thirukkural, he urged the delegates to pursue noble aspirations and stay resilient in their path.
Asokan, former Deputy Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, echoed this message, emphasising the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving global conflicts.
