Over 250 graduands were conferred degrees during the 48th graduation day event of Vivekananda College in Madurai on Saturday.

Chief guest S. Gowri, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Madras, advised students to focus on their years post college education as that would lay foundation for the rest of the lives.

Sharing his life experiences, he informed the students that sustained learning and hard work were essential for not only professional success but also for personal success.

K.K. Karthikeyan, principal in-charge, welcomed and presented the annual report.
