A total number of 88 Grade-II Jail Warder recruits, including six women, successfully passed out here on Thursday after completing six months training at the State Institute of Correctional Administration situated within the Central Prison complex in Tiruchi.

Minister for Natural Resources, Courts and Prisons S. Regupathy was the chief guest for the passing out parade function. Director-General of Prisons and Correctional Services Maheswar Dayal and Deputy Inspector-General of Prisons (Tiruchi Range) D. Pazhani were present.

The recruits underwent training on a host of aspects, including prison manual, human rights, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.
