In a significant reshuffle, 56 police constables (civil) from Cyberabad Police have been promoted to the rank of head constable (civil) and have been transferred to Hyderabad City Police. The move follows directives from the Inspector General of Police, Multi Zone-II, V. Satyanarayana and comes over a month after 262 police constables from the State were promoted to the rank of head constables in the Charminar zone.
Among those promoted and transferred are Ravindar Patlavath from Kothur police, R. Krishna from Shamshabad police, B. Mahipal from Balanagar Central Crime Station (CCS), Sudarshan Reddy Peddolla from Narsingi traffic police. Others include Venkatesh Volluri from the Cyber Crime Wing, Suresh A from Madhapur CCS, Puppala Sriramulu from Mailardevpally police, Ganesh Kumar Talla from Attapur police, P Balraj Pittala from Petbasheerabad police and N.Thirupathi Reddy from the Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
A memorandum issued by the Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty instructed the personnel to report immediately to the Hyderabad Police Commissioner. These officers, previously stationed at key police stations including Madhapur, Moinabad, Alwal, and Raidurgam, have been directed to relieve their current posts without delay and assume their new roles in Hyderabad.
