The Madhavaram Police on Friday (August 15, 2025) arrested 10 persons, including two juveniles, for allegedly hacking a 24-year-old man to death in Ambedkar Nagar.

On Thursday (August 14) morning, the police received information that a body was found on the premises of a factory that had been shut for 10 years. The police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, which bore several wound marks.

They identified the deceased as Chandru alias Lokesh, 24, a painter from Burma Colony near Madhavaram. Further investigation led to the arrest of 10 persons, and according to the police, the victim was killed over “area supremacy issues.”
