As many as 77 patent details of medical, mechanical, sports, and heating technologies were shared by innovators with members of the industry at a meeting to initiate technology transfer, commercialising and licensing processes earlier this week.
32 patent details from Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University , 17 patents from Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, and nine from KSR College of Technology, Thiruchengode, were presented at the meeting. According to a press release, five medical patents were presented by Dr. K. Prabhu from Sree Balaji Medical College, Chennai whereas five mineral recovery technologies were presented by K. Ramachandran from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
The meeting, organised by the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, had representatives from Laghu Udyog Bharati, Tamil Nadu Region, as well as other private company officials.
