Electric loco trial run between Ramanthapuram and Rameswaram was conducted successfully on Thursday. The loco was run from Ramanathapuram to Rameswaram and back in the early hours.

Meanwhile, Divisional Railway Manager, Om Praksh Meena, conducted window inspection on Madurai – Rameswaram section. He also inspected the new Pamban railway bridge, Rameswaram station redevelopment work, coach maintenance facility and running room at Rameswaram.
