The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research, has said that the round I of Tamil Nadu undergraduate medical counselling is being extended as the counselling for All India Quota has been delayed.

In a notification issued on Tuesday, the committee said that candidates can register and fill their choices and lock their choices till 5 p.m. of August 16. The processing of seat allotment will be done on August 17 and the results will be published on August 18. Candidates can download their allotment order from August 18 to August 24 (12 noon). The last reporting date of counselling for Tamil Nadu round I is till 5 p.m. of August 24.
