An enriching book for enhancing the quality of skills of school students with regard to their academic and professional lives titled Pathway Towards Excellence was released at Guhan Matric Higher Secondary School.

According to a press release issued here on Saturday, Indian Society of Criminology Vice-Chairperson C. Muthuraja released the book and mentioned that this book would serve the interests of a wide range of students for equipping their lives with industry-related skills. This is a valuable necessity in the age of globalised competition for careers among the youth, hesaid.

Receiving the first copy, Principal Sumathi Guhan encouraged the students to imbibe the contents of the book for their self-development that will pave way for their future pursuits in the field of education and profession.

Narrating the experiences of authoring and publishing the book, Nicholas Francis stated that the contents of the book were inspiration that he drew from numerous programmes that were conducted by him as a soft skill and career development trainer.

The present day students require a strong determination to stay away from digital distraction to focus on their self-development with appropriate life goals. The aspect of career development will be positive and successful only when they pursue their education with purpose and look ahead to the future with passion, he added.
