The School Education Department will select teachers for the State Best Teacher Awards–2025 under three categories. In a statement on Friday, Director of School Education V. Vijay Rama Raju informed that guidelines and timelines for the selection process have been communicated to Regional Joint Directors, District Educational Officers, and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha.

Teachers working in all government-run and aided schools, excluding those under private management, are eligible to apply, provided they have completed at least 10 years of service. The selection will be made under three categories: self-nomination, recommendation by five fellow teachers, and performance-based recognition through the LEAP app.

The last date for submission of applications at the respective offices of the Divisional Deputy Educational Officers is August 8.
