NTR District Collector G. Lakshmisha paid a surprise visit to the Amarajeevi Potti Sriramulu Municipal Corporation High School, in Krishnalanka on Thursday.

The Collector visited the kitchen, classrooms and the staff room. He enquired about the facilities, quality of the mid-day meals being served with the students.

School in-charge headmaster M. Narasimhacharyulu informed the Collector that all the 370 students avail the school lunch. The students expressed satisfaction with the quality of meals being served. Mr. Lakshmisha joined the students for lunch and expressed satisfaction with the taste of the food.

Later, he interacted with students in their classroom and asked them about the quality of teaching and their ambitions for the future. The Collector asked the students to set goals and work hard towards fulfilling the dreams of their parents.

Additionally, he also explained about the ill-effects of drugs, ganja and other narcotics, and asked the students to stay away from such substances. He explained educated the children on various types of cybercrimes and cautioned them on online frauds.
