A Central team is scheduled to undertake an eight-day field inspection of rural development programmes in Sri Sathya Sai district from July 25 to August 1. Speaking to the media here on Thursday, District Collector T.S. Chetan said that all concerned officials were instructed to be prepared with all the records and progress reports for the visiting team.
Earlier, the Collector held a meeting with the officials of the District Water Management, District Rural Development Authority and Housing Department at the Collectorate. The visiting team will cover eight village panchayats across Amarapuram, Gandlapenta and Ramagiri mandals, interacting with beneficiaries and personally inspecting the works being implemented under various Union government-funded schemes.
The team will focus on MGNREGS works, pension distribution, women’s self-help groups, housing projects, watershed initiatives, and panchayat-level administration.
