A book chronicling the life of former Minister Pusapati Anand Gajapathi Raju, authored by his daughter Urmila Gajapathi Raju, was released at a ceremony held at Grand Bay Hotel here on Tuesday evening.

Goa Governor-designate Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Bheemunipatnam MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao were among the dignitaries who attended the event. Mr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju recalled learning valuable lessons from his brother Anand, a passionate sports enthusiast who made significant contributions to the promotion of sports during his tenure as a Minister. He also lauded Ms. Urmila for her extensive research in compiling the biography. Bheemunipatnam MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao said Anand Gajapathi Raju brought grace and dignity to politics. Vizianagaram MLA Aditi Gajapathi Raju, Anand’s wife Sudha Gajapathi Raju, author Urmila Gajapathi Raju, and former MP Pradeep Kumar Deo were also present at the event.
