Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, continued its strong run at the box office on Monday, earning an estimated ₹22.50 crore (India net) on its fourth day. With this, the film’s total domestic collection stands at approximately ₹105.75 crore, according to early figures from Sacnilk.

The romantic drama had already surprised the industry with a stellar opening weekend, collecting ₹21.5 crore on Friday, followed by ₹26 crore on Saturday and ₹35.75 crore on Sunday. While Monday saw a dip of around 37% from Sunday’s total, the day’s earnings still exceeded those of its opening day, which is an especially rare feat for a film led by newcomers.

Saiyaara has quickly emerged as one of the most successful Hindi releases of 2025. It now ranks seventh among the year’s top-grossing Hindi films, overtaking the total lifetime domestic collections of several big-ticket projects, including Kesari Chapter 2 (₹92.53 crore) and Jaat (₹88.26 crore). The film is now eyeing Sikandar, Salman Khan’s release, which currently sits at ₹110.1 crore.

With a reported 41.87% occupancy rate on Monday — peaking at nearly 60% during night shows — Saiyaara has also outperformed recent romantic dramas by a wide margin. Its four-day total surpasses the first-week numbers of films like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Teri Baaton Mein Aisi Uljha Jiya, and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.

Driven largely by positive word-of-mouth and audience engagement on social media, Saiyaara has bucked conventional marketing trends and delivered a breakout success. The film’s performance on weekdays will be crucial in determining how far it can climb in the coming weeks, but early signs suggest it’s far from slowing down.
