Personnel from Tamil Nadu Police have bagged medals at the World Police and Fire Games–2025 which was held in Alabama, USA, from June 27 to July 6. 

In this international competition, Tamil Nadu Police personnel V. Dinesh, S. Arjun, B. Harikrishnan, V. Saranya and K. Elavarsi represented the All India Police Team and won a total of 11 medals, comprising three gold, four silver, and four bronze. 

In addition, A. Myilvaganan, Superintendent of Police, along with a team consisting of six Inspectors of Police, one Sub-Inspector of Police, one Special Sub-Inspector of Police, four Head Constables and four Women Head Constables, also participated in age category events of the competition and secured a total 39 medals, including 19 gold, 11 silver and 9 bronze.

 Their outstanding performance has brought great pride and honour to Tamil Nadu State and the Tamil Nadu Police Department, said the Director General of Police / Head of Police Force, Shankar Jiwal while appreciating all the medal winners in recognition of their achievements.
