Dr .B .R. Ambedkar Konaseema District Collector R. Mahesh Kumar reviews land acquisition for the Kotipalli-Narsapur railway line with South-Central Railway authorities at the Collectorate in Amalapuram on Monday.

District Collector R. Mahesh Kumar has directed the Revenue officials and South-Central Railway authorities to conduct a joint revenue survey as per the old and new land alignments for the 57-kilometer-long railway line between Kotipalli and Narsapur in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district on Monday.
The execution of the railway has been delayed due to hurdles in land acquisition.
In a review meeting with the railway authorities, Mr. Mahesh Kumar has said that the joint revenue survey and preparation of estimation of the compensation to be paid for the land owners would simultaneously be completed.
Junior engineer P. Rahul shared the details of the alignment of the railway line. The land will be handed over to the railways once the joint survey is done.
