The Cubbon Park police raided a pub on Rest House Road on Saturday and arrested four persons, including a drug peddler, for organising an event that served liquor and tobacco products to guests in the presence of 10 minor children.

According to the police, the raid was based on a tip-off. The accused have been identified as Tushar Gowda, 25, held with three grams of ganja, pub manager Prasanna Das, Deepthi C.A., 23, and Atheesh Kumar Gowda, 27 , who organised the event.

The police said that around 100 persons including 28 boys and girls and 10 children were present in the pub at the time of the raid. Deepthi and Atheesh were issuing passes and collecting money from the people attending the event. The guests were served liquor and were smoking, they said.
