The Arthunkal police station in Alappuzha has received the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9001:2015 certification.

The ISO certificate was handed over by Praveen Khanna, Deputy Director General (Southern Region) of the Bureau of Indian Standards, in the presence of State Police Chief Ravada Azad Chandrashekhar; Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) H. Venkatesh; and other officials at a function held on Thursday.

The station received the certification for quality management system.
