Liverpool’s Portuguese forward Diogo Jota died in car crash near Zamora, in northwestern Spain, Spanish state-owned TV station said on Thursday (July 3, 2025), citing local firefighters.
The 28-year-old player recently won the Premier League title with Liverpool.
His death comes just two weeks after his wedding.
