The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APS RTC) has reduced the fares on its AC buses from Visakhapatnam to BHEL and MGBS in Hyderabad, to Vijayawada, Rajahmundry and Amalapuram by 10%.

The normal fare from Visakhapatnam to BHEL, by Amaravati Bus, which is ₹1,870, will now be ₹1,690, ₹1,480 (as against normal fare of ₹1,670) by Night Rider Seat, and ₹1,730 (against normal fare of ₹1,940) by Night Rider Berth. The fare from Visakhapatnam to Amalapuram by Indra AC bus has been reduced from ₹550 to ₹500.

Similarly, the fares by AC buses on other routes have also been reduced by 10%. DPTO B. Appalanaidu called upon passengers to take advantage of the reduced fares and patronise RTC buses.
