The annual Justice V. R. Krishna Iyer memorial law lecture will be delivered by Chief Justice of India (CJI) B. R. Gavai on July 6 at the Kerala High Court Auditorium at 5 p.m.

The Chief Justice will speak on Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer’s role in balancing fundamental rights and the directive principles of State policy.

Nitin Jamdar, Chief Justice, Kerala High Court, will preside over the function organised by the Sarada Krishna Satgamaya Foundation for Law and Justice.

Devan Ramachandran, Judge, Kerala High Court, will also attend, according to a communication issued by Sanand Ramakrishnan, secretary of the foundation.
