CMBT Police has arrested a 21-year-old youth who attacked the driver of a government run bus after the latter’s vehicle grazed the former’s car while moving on the road.

According to police, M.Baskaran, 50 of Ranipet district was driving the bus from the depot in Vellore to CMBT, Koyambedu on Thursday. While the bus was moving on 100 feet road near Ten Square mall, it had grazed the body of the car moving along. The car driver got down and attacked the bus driver besides abusing him. The bus driver Baskaran was injured and treated at Government Kilpauk Hospital. Later, he lodged a complaint with the police.

Following this, the police arrested the car driver who has been identified as Samuel Pritham, 21 of Avadi and he was remanded to judicial custody.
