The water level in Papanasam dam on Friday stood at 135.05 feet (the maximum level 143 feet) with an inflow of 2,205 cusecs and a discharge of 1,500 cusecs. The level in Manimuthar dam stood at 96.17 feet (118 feet) with an inflow of 271.16 cusecs and a discharge of 75 cusecs.
