Parking menace
The indiscriminate parking of vehicles on both sides of streets and roads has become a serious concern and a major hazard to pedestrians, especially in the corporation limits of Tirunelveli. Traffic authorities should take immediate action against those who park their vehicles on the roadside, causing inconvenience to the public.

Road woes
Eruvadi is a special grade town panchayat having a population of around 25,000. But the town is currently facing severe traffic congestion, due to massive vehicular movement. The roads are uneven and filled with potholes, because of the digging carried out for the Thamirabharani combined water supply scheme and other purposes. The town panchayat authorities should give special attention to restoring the damaged roads.

Parking chaos
The ramp for differently abled persons in Tirunelveli collectorate is often blocked by two wheelers on both sides. This defeats the purpose of the ramp and causes difficulty and inconvenience for those who need it.
Also, there are no proper parking spaces for cars and two wheelers for the visitors, and they are parked haphazardly under the shady trees within the premises. Even the cars of the senior officials are parked at the main entrance or in the portico.
The officials concerned must take steps to ensure that the ramp remains clear for the differently abled and the parking facilities in the premises for visitors and officials.

Water shortage
Inadequate supply of water from Pechiparai dam and non completion of the renovation works at the water canal in Mylaudy has caused severe wilting of rice seedlings at the fields of Thovalai. Authorities must accelerate the Mylaudy canal’s repairs and provide sufficient water supply to save the withering crops.

Damaged shelter
The new stop in front of the APPTA market in Ozhuginasery, which was inaugurated a few months ago is in a dilapidated state with floor tiles broken and pillars damaged. The Nagercoil corporation should take immediate action to get the shelter repaired at the earliest for the people to make use of the facility again.
